My Awards & Medals

Hope to add to my collection

My Awards & Medals

Since 2000 when I first embarked on designing gardens for the major shows, I have been privileged to receive substantial encouragement and support from the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). Their expertise and guidance has been warmly received by me.

Of course to facilitate the creation of unique garden displays demands hefty financial input and my appreciation and thanks go to the many leading UK based international companies who have been exceedingly supportive.

Although the design, planning and development are fraught stages of the process combined with the vast amount of hard work needed to achieve tight deadlines brings its rewards. The satisfaction and pleasure I get from stepping back and viewing the finished garden makes it all worthwhile and drives me on to the next one.

Not many business activities can provide as much fun and pleasure as my chosen direction; and how many can routinely bring about relaxed, chatty conversations with celebrities and royalty. All share the same passion, plants and gardening.

I hope you have had the opportunity to visit some of the shows around the country and been pleased with myinnovative and visually stimulating gardens. My intention is to present an entertaining display to fuel imagination and encourage ideas and thoughts for your own garden.

To top off my pleasure I am proud to be one of the most decorated Garden Designers, with a collection of a total of 26 Royal Horticultural Society medals to date, of which 10 are either Gold or Silver Gilt.

In 2010 after the well-received BBC World cup football garden, we moved on to The Chelsea Flower Show where we created the most expensive garden in history with a diamond studded garden design worth in excess of £20 million. Not my money, you understand!

However other people licked their lips at the sight of our garden at the Ideal Home Show ………. made entirely out of Belgian chocolate.
