I have carefully chosen a selection of stunning plants that will look great in any garden, and the mix is designed to flower and set seed at different times. It offers a gorgeous flower border for you to admire and natural seed food for the birds throughout summer and autumn.

Sowing Time: Sow outdoors from March to June

Flowering Height: 40-100cm

Box dimensions: 42 x 36 x 13cm

Mix the flower seed, maize granules and compost in a bowl. Scatter the mixture onto a prepared soil surface you’ve cleared of weeds, pebbles and lumps. Then lightly rake in and firm down. Keep the soil moist but be careful not to overwater. If seedlings are too close together, thin to about 10cm apart. It will flower in approximately six to eight weeks.

David’s top tip!

The perennial varieties within the mixture will flower the following year. In autumn, cut back to just above ground level.
