when the label gets wet markings run so unable to read

I brought these to label seedlings in a propagation but being of would they grow mould! So not useful and had to buy plastic ones. Also they absorb and spread ink being of wood. I wouldn’t advise using them

I bought with the thought of less plastic but the pen is wrapped in plastic, and the sticks are in packs of 50, both wrapped in plastic, all in a plastic bag, and then in another plastic bag.Also didn’t think about them getting mouldy with being in soil, definitely wouldn’t buy again.

These are thin and not as expected in the images. They claim to be eco friendly but wrapped in many layers of plastic.
