Easy to use, and appear to change colour when tested.Vinegar changed colour, so it must work somewhat.I added a picture from Google translate for the instructions, as thats what some people were complaining about.

these PH strips are fine for soil testing – only drawback is that the use instructions are only in Chinese – i know how to sample and test so it wasnt a problem for me but would be a serious drawback for those who do not have testing training or skills – hence 1 star off.

The litmus paper generally works, but it is inaccurate and not sensitive enough to pick up soil readings. I tried it in the kitchen first:baking soda PH=8.5 — shows as 8.0sea salt PH=7.0 — shows as 6.0 (amber)milk PH=6.4-6.8 — shows as 6.0 (amber)beer PH=4.4 — shows as 5.0 (amber, very slightly warmer)white wine PH=3.2 — shows as 3.8Colours for PH 5 and 6 in the chart are very difficult to tell apart, both are amber. So, the colours produced by sea salt, milk and beer (actual PH 3.4-7.0) looked almost the same. This is a range of a particular interest for gardeners!Inaccuracy, however is not the main problem. The test requires high concentration of the substance, which is not happening in the soil. When I squeezed a blueberry in a small measure of water, the acidity was not detected, the strip stayed amber. I had to rub the berry on the strip in order to make it go pink. None of the soil tests changed the strip colour. So, shopping for a better test…

Plenty of test strips but everything in a far eastern language – so no instructions for me.

Advertised for testing soil but they don’t work. They’re duds. I tested against vinegar and water and milk and all different liquids and not a single strip worked!
