Crumbly, and dark. Beautiful to use. No sign of the nasties you can get in some other peat free. Will happily buy again.

The product looks ok, it arrived with two wholes which I am not very bothered about since I have many recycling bags that are quite big and I could fit the soil bag in there so I can have it sealed after every use. Many people commented that has no smell but actually it does smell like animal manure and you feel it when you open the bag and handle the compost for planting quite a lot!

Good product with far better growth of lettuce, flowers & squash than other well-known branded compost. Found one tiny piece of plastic, but nothing to stress over. The results are clear. I’m buying more today, hence the review. I rarely review products.
