I only wanted to find the ph of the soil I was planting blueberries in and I spent days looking on line for something that would do just that and not also give me the time of day when the sun rose in Bangkok the winner of the fourth race at Ascot and my inside leg measurement and eventually settled on this because it had the least negative reports,As yet I have only tried it on a few non Cretaceous areas of soil and it is nonplussed.I live in hopes that when I get the Ericaceous compost I have ordered it might give me a reading I am looking for. I live in hope.

I bought this and it seems to work fine

Does exactly what it’s supposed toSpot on. No more guessing with my house plants

I bought this as I am well known for killing houseplants due to over watering in the winter time. As a test I have 2 pots of citrus trees grown from seed. One pot I watered by eye and they are now all dead. One pot I used the meter on. Every week I test and when the meter is below half way on the gauge I water. The trees in this pot are still alive (bar one). I read reviews when buying this and was concerned about it. Certainly it is cheap looking and I doubt it will stand up to hard use as it does not appear the most robust. But it seems to do the job for what I purchased it for.

The best way to check if plants need water, this time I ordered 3 one for my Grandaughter for her house plants, then two for my daughter to take back to New Zealand as they are not available there.

I bought this specifically for pH testing soil and I am afraid I got the same reading in a new bag of ericaceous soil as I did Miracle Grow – 7.5 which is neutral. I even tried it dunked in ericaceous feed and the needle still wouldn’t budge. The needle did move in light and dark so it wasn’t stuck or anything. No good for me but if you don’t want to pH test, it may well be OK for you.

Perfect really, nothing bad to say about it.
