Really works, just beware of moisture.
About 2 years ago I decided to do an experiment with Miracle-Gro, these companies always claim they make plants so much bigger so I gave it a test. I had 2 plants of equal size next to each other 1 I used Miracle Gro the other I didn’t and after a summers worth of growth the one with the plant food really looked a lot healthier and was almost twice as bushy. I wish I still had a picture to show.I really like the continuous release balls as they are so much easier than measuring out and feeding your plants manually, I just shake a few of these round at the start of the growing season and don’t worry about feeding them for the rest of the year. You’ve got to be careful on the plants you use them on though, the likes of peppers and chili’s really don’t like too much food and will start to go a bit rotten after a while if you use these on them.I’ve given this four stars because they’ve still not fixed the damp problem, no matter how tightly I shut the lid there always seems to get a bit of damp in which just makes the balls clump up after a while and not want to come out.Happy Growing!

Product probably okay but broken airtight seal is a slight disappointment
Slightly disappointed with the way the product was shipped. I noticed that the green lid was sellotaped down. I removed the lid to remove the airtight seal to find that it had been half removed so that the contents were in theory no long airtight. When I went to pour the product some of the granules became stuck in the holes of the dispenser. I can only assume this is because they had absorbed some moisture due to the broken seal. Has it contained foodstuff then I would have probably returned it.

All my shrubs and plants in there pots on my steps are all in flower. But unfortunately I can not tell if that is down to this product as I also use a liquid fertiliser as well, but everything is looking and smelling great!!!

Really easy to use and came in a nice big sturdy tub that will last ages. The garden is looking nice for sure, but there’s really no way of knowing if that’s because of the nice weather and the time I’ve spent diligently nurturing and weeding or if it’s this stuff being magic. Still, I recommend!

Happy so far!
Too early to comment on the effectiveness, but on the basis of reading, I would like to comment that this contains a much broader range of nutrients than regular NPK fertilisers such as growmore. The shaker is easy to use, but if I find this to be an effective fertiliser I’d prefer to be purchasing larger quantities of the product in a cardboard box (much like the Miracle-gro rose and shrub fertiliser, for example).

Convenient dry-form plant fertiliser; one of the best and not expensive
MiracleGro is one of the best plant fertilisers available. Unlike the liquid variety that needs to be measured and added to a certain amount of water, this takes up rather less space, is lighter to handle and much easier to dispense.The bottle has two dispensing options; a wide ‘spout’ that can discharge large quantities or a smaller sprinkler area where you can shake out as little or as much as your plants will need. These options make it just as easy to use with potted plants, hanging baskets, borders, raised beds and any other planting area you may have.I had not actually seen this version of MiracleGro locally, but only the liquid form and then in fairly large quantities. With a small garden plus a few potted plants, litres of concentrate is far more than I would need to use.

I’ve been using this product for years – works really well – I put it in hanging baskets, tubs and also in the hole when putting in bedding plants. Everything grows really well and doesn’t need any more fertiliser for the whole season. Good value product. I also use a similar product specifically for ericaceous plants.

I mix this with soil in pots and trugs and my plants and veggies grow very well. In very large pots I sprinkle this on top of the soil so the feed leeches through when you water them. Good stuff.

Miracle Grow all purpose plant food
This was the second time I ordered this. First time was totally fine with no problems.. The second time was a mystery. The box came and it looked perfectly ok. On opening it the all purpose food was emptied out in to box, the lid was in bits and the seal had been pulled back. HOW this happened inside the box is amazing. I had to scoop up all the feed and put it in a plastic box. Defeats the shake part completely. However the all purpose plant feed is very good and I will buy it again but maybe perhaps from the shop.

Excellent product that I have used for some time. Supplier please note: The packed arrived intact (Just) – it had been subject to abuse by Hermes Carrier. A little more attention to QA Packing procedures would deem prudent. I think a less robust product container would have split and made quite a mess and would have to be returned to supplier for a refund. I would not use / purchase from them again.

Good stuff
Works well to give plants a long term boost over the growing season. I sprinkle a little in the pots and borders at the start of the growing season, or when re-potting, and use it as a top-dressing again later in the season if required. Great for lockdown gardening as no mess and the sprinkle jar is easy to store.

Perfect for aquarium DIY root tabs!!!
Great product for a fantastic price!! Got this to make some DIY aquarium plant root tabs, if you want to do the same thing then get yourself some gelatine, size 00 empty capsules, fill each one up with this continuous release formula… hey presto, you have made some DIY root tabs at a fraction of the price. Pop one under the substrate near your plants and let them go to work… Plenty of youtube vids on this if you fancy giving it a go… Already due to these our hairgrass has thrown out a load of new runners and growth and is looking VERY green and healthy. You will not be disappointed at the results. Fast delivery from a cracking seller… 5 stars all round.

It’s been around for years and have used it many times, remember this is a slow release fertiliser and if your not careful you can over fertilise the plant by adding to much and it will bad for them. Never had a problem with this product.
