Description
Product Description
Moss curled 2 parsley herb seed by Mr. Fothergill’s. Easy and decorative in pots. Good, dark, curled leaved variety.
Plant Class: Hardy Perennial (HP).
Useful Information: Suitable for contained gardens; Herb garden
Sow and Grow: Outdoors: sow thinly, March-July, where they are to crop, 1.5 cm (1/2-inch) deep, directly into finely-prepared, moist, well-drained soil, which has already been watered. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Thin seedlings to 20 cm (8-inch) apart. Water well until plants are established. Cloche protection in autumn allows winter picking. Or to grow indoors all year round, sow thinly 0.5 cm (1/4-inch) deep, in small pots of compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 15-20 degree C (60-68 degree F) is ideal. Plants can be grown on to maturity on a light windowsill. Harvest: Indoor crops all year round, outdoor crops from May. Pick a few leaves, as required, from each plant so that they regrow quickly.
Hints and Tips: Use the leaves to flavour salads and sauces and as a garnish. They may be dried or frozen, but for best flavour, use fresh.

Grew fast & lasted a long time, you can keep cutting it, the more you cut it the better
The Antyman –
I have grown this variety before, and Parsley is known for it to be hard to get to germinate but this variety does germinate easier than other varieties of curly Parsley.
Mike –
Same item as last year very nice and easy to grow.
Maura Dillon-Malone –
I did a first sowing as per instructions and nothing emerged. This is a shame as I planted some flat leafed parsley nearby and it’s come up very well. I’ve done a second sowing of the Fothergill’s curly parsley and am watching with interest.
Andrejs Nikolajevs –

Quite pleased with seeds. Germination was good and they are growing very well, without any problems. No complaints about these seeds.
