Description
Sow outdoors, from March to June, where they are to flower, 0.5 cm (1/4-inch) deep. Do this directly into prepared and well-drained soil, which has already been watered. Seedlings usually appear in 14-28 days. Thin the seedlings as necessary to allow room to grow. Water well until the plants are established. Sow in curves, rather than straight lines. This often creates a more pleasing effect. Regular sowings, made every three weeks, will make sure they have a longer flowering season. Enjoy the flowers from June to October.
Hints and Tips: Sow seeds thinly, so that quick-growing varieties do not overcrowd slower ones.
