Cosmos Sweet Kisses Seeds by Mr. Fothergill’s. Intricate, ruffled picotee blooms which will flower throughout the summer. Tall and fine feathery foliage. This is a half hardy annual, which flowers the same year as sown. It is easy to grow, and grows well in full sun.

Sow and Grow: Sow your Cosmos Sweet Kisses indoors for surest results, between February and April, 0.5 cm (1/4-inch) deep, in trays of compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 15-20 degrees Celsius (60-68 degree Fahrenheit) is ideal. Keep moist. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Transplant the seedlings, 5 cm (2-inch) apart, to other trays when large enough to handle (always hold by a leaf). Or, sow your Cosmos Sweet Kisses outdoors for ease, between April and May, where they are to flower, 1.5 cm (1/2-inch) deep. Do this into finely-prepared, well-drained soil, which has already been watered. Thin seedlings to 30 cm (1-feet) apart. Water well until plants are established. Flowers: June-October.
Hints and Tips: Remove the Cosmos Sweet Kisses dead heads regularly to prolong the flowering season. Cosmos does well, even in poor soils or dry summers.

I bought these seeds and planted them in May 2023. The picture in this review is from September 2023. They were one of the few seeds that germinated very well and quickly. They survived the hard heat of May and June 2023 in the UK. I didn’t think they would do so well. Next year they are moving to the back of the border given their height. I don’t usually plant a lot of annuals but these are worth every penny for the display they put on.

These flowers are great and easy to grow, but I ordered a mixed colour pink and white/cream, all I get is 100% pink! I don’t think the company have put correct seeds inside.
