Description
These giant sunflower seeds provide huge heads on giant stems, that are easy, fast growing, and good fun to grow with children.
Height: 180cm/72in
Plant Class: Hardy Annual (HA).
Habit: Tall, Upright.
Sow outdoors, March-May, where they are to flower, 1.5cm (½”) deep, directly into finely-prepared, well-drained soil, which has already been watered.
Sow two seeds together every 45cm (18″). Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days.
Remove the weaker plant, which can be transplanted if desired. Water well until young plants are established.
Or sow indoors, March-May, 1.5cm (½”) deep, individually in small pots of compost.
Water well and place in a cold frame or greenhouse.
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts), before planting out, May-June, 45cm (18″) apart.
Flowers: June to September.

Successful growth with the help of a green house. This year had terrible spring weather to sow from seeds finally after months cold temperature, showers and gloomy weather then July they all went and bloomed. Thirsty plants though need to water them twice when it was extra warm.

Mistakenly Bought this Brand thinking Giant Single (False Advertising) Totally misleading! Mr Frothergill you should be ashamed!!! Previously I have Grown Giant Sunflowers 16ft plus… These are expensive seeds for a Dwarf variety!!!!!
