First and foremost, it’s beautiful wrapping paper

We wanted to make a product that you want to buy just for how it looks and feels. Yes, it’s made in a sustainable way and yes it is designed to be low impact, but it’s really important to us that it looks and feels like the luxury gift wrapping that it is and that children love it for how it looks.

The paper has a soft sheen and a silky finish which allows for rich vibrant colours. The weight of the paper makes it feel luxurious to the touch and it makes a really satisfying noise when it rips. It’s thick as we could make it while still remaining useable, so there’s absolutely zero show-through of the backing grid or the gifts inside.

The tags are made of the same paper, but as heavy card, so colours and reflections match perfectly. We’ve left no stone unturned when it comes to the detail of developing the gift sets.

Provenance is important too

If we’re making bold claims about our wrapping paper, we think it’s only fair to prove it! Every sheet of wrapping paper that we print and the front tag sheet in every pack is printed with FSC identification.

We make the right choices about the paper and suppliers we use, and you can be sure that we’re true to our word because every sheet is marked as such, under scrutiny from the FSC. So you know, we use a paper that is made from 100% post-consumer waste and it passes the scrunch test for reuse once you dispose of it.

Easy to use, easy to dispose of

Each sheet is printed with a cutting guide/backing grid to help you to cut straight cuts and to minimise waste. We also repeat recycling instructions several times on each sheet so there’s little chance of the recipient not seeing the disposal instructions. One of the biggest culprits for paper ending up in landfills is people leaving the sticky tape on the sheets. You can have the highest credential papers and still fall foul of the rubbish dump if you don’t know how to dispose of your waste. We don’t use any plastic in our packaging either, instead opting for a renewable material; we use corn starch film for poly wrapping.
