This product is not very sensitive to soil ph or moisture. It got the readings wrong on peat soil which is acidic. Not very useful at all, waste of money.

With 1000s of reviews, it looked good so bought it. But the meter reading was near ‘dry’ in my Olive tree pot. So I gave it a thorough watering leaving the hose pipe to run for 5 minutes. The next day, the meter read as ‘dry’ again after leaving it in the pot for several hours to make sure. The earth was moist! Disappointed. Not accurate at all and risked overwatering my olive tree.
