I was looking for a small barbecue that I could carry to a secluded wild spot with my family for a family day out. This item has proved invaluable and I’ve even used it in the garden instead of firing up a large gas barbecue. The item has a huge following on social media is sturdy and very well-made. As others have done, I did modify the grill by cutting it in half so that I can store additional items inside the grill prior to it being used. The bag of briquettes is quite small and will probably only last 2 times grilling. The firelighters weren’t great in my opinion and I have since used wood shaving with beeswax type firelighters to much better success. Overall the item is great to throw in the car and take with you on a family day out to the river or the beach and I would highly recommend it for people who have one or two children as you can easily cater for up to 4 people in one go

Really good quality item easy to get BBQ quality food. Very easy to store weight may be a problem if carried long distances. However a carry bag is avalable.

Great little bbq, i used this for a weeks camping. Perfect for 1 or 2 people. You might struggle trying to cook for more a it is small. Packs away nicely too.

The assembly was slightly more complicated than expected, and I am a tradesman.Once assembled, it is clear the barbecue is a quality item. Used on several occasions now whilst camping, easy lit, easily used and easily extinguished when finished, using the vent control. Cooking is typically Webber, just control the heat with the vents and lid.Would have been 5 stars if the handle folded flat for packing away as it does stick up quite a bit. The rest of the barbecue folds and licks away nicely.

The Weber Go-Anywhere Barbeque Grill is a top-notch product. Not only is it built with high-quality material, but it’s also incredibly sturdy and firm. Its portability is a definite plus, making it perfect for outings. Highly recommended for those seeking a dependable portable grill.

I have owned a Weber BBQ for over 20 years now, all others being ‘garden-based’ ones. I love them, so am happily biased. Yes, they are expensive, more expensive than most – but, for us, really worth it. I am not a great cook/chef, but the Webers make it easy to do BBQs, even for me. This little one was ideal for what we wanted – a small portable BBQ to take away on staycations and events with us. I got the gas one (just for ease), even though my one at home is a combi (Charcoal with gas ignition – and the same canister works on both!), and it fires up fast (as you’d expect) – and, in some situations, is a little safer than the Charcoal version (i.e in one case we rented a small apartment with a balcony where Charcoal BBQs were not permitted). Really pleased, it works really well and even with a family of 5, there is enough space to cook a good meal of burgers, sausages etc (although in a phased approach!).

Best little BBQ around, theres a great facebook group to support learning how to get the best out of this amazing piece of kit.

Ok, I have had this for a couple of months and have been impressed. It is easy to carry and fold up although the latch is starting to get a little loose. Plus I haven’t done this ‘hot’ on the beach and as the lid doesn’t lock on you have to waiting until cool.A great additional feature would be storing a ‘bag’ of coals inside ready but even the Weber bags won’t fit neatly which is a shame as they do burn really well and my BBQ coal of choice. There is a plate in the bottom which keeps the hot coals off the base. This appears to be sacrificial as it is warping. However this has deteriorated further and maybe the way it is – just a bit surprised. The metal grate on which the coals sit has bent under the heat and weight of the coals and this is a surprise and disappointment. I wouldn’t have expected this and I now turn it over to try and get the bend to even out.The griddle is rusting as it has been left out once or twice and so when coupled with the grate it relates to a ‘quality’ issue. Bit disappointed but not a show stopper. Easy to clean – have put the lid and griddle in dishwasher! Perhaps not recommended but it works for me! One thing to remember is the height of the griddle is fixed and low so you don’t need many coals or you burn the food.Hmmm, irrespective of these points I would buy another. It cooks well, the paper manual is basic and informative for a novice like me and with some experimentation I am enjoying the experience of trying different things.Using a chimney to light loose coals is a God-send and as said before the Weber ones work well and don’t taste the food.

The Weber go anywhere is a great portable BBQ. Folds away nice and neatly and can pack a smaller chimney starter inside it. Other accessories are also available such as cast iron grills etc. this is my second one and the first is still fine. Purchased when on offer but even full price a great BBQ for camping. The Smokey Joe looks better but isn’t as practical and uses more space. Easily shut down the vents to put the BBQ out and be able to reuse the charcoal. Can use as an oven so camenbert, garlic bread and cheese toasties become a camping favourite
