Sowing Time: Sow outdoors from March to June
Flowering Height: 40-100cm
Box dimensions: 42 x 36 x 13cm
Mix the flower seed, maize granules and compost in a bowl. Scatter the mixture onto a prepared soil surface you’ve cleared of weeds, pebbles and lumps. Then lightly rake in and firm down. Keep the soil moist but be careful not to overwater. If seedlings are too close together, thin to about 10cm apart. It will flower in approximately six to eight weeks.
David’s top tip!
The perennial varieties within the mixture will flower the following year. In autumn, cut back to just above ground level.
