Pumpkin Competition

It’s the time of year for pumpkin fun once again! Get your gourds at the ready because Halloween is creeping up fast…

My pumpkin carving competition is back again and this year it’s going to be extra ghoulish! All you need to do is carve a pumpkin and enter it into the competition. There’s some terrific prizes up for grabs, so read on to find out how to submit your design… If you dare!

The competition

Firstly, you need to carve your own pumpkin. You can create any design you like, using any variety of pumpkin! It doesn’t have to be a pumpkin either—You can use any fruit or vegetable!

If you’re stuck for ideas or need help, you can find my step-by-step pumpkin carving tips on my blog.

To be in with a good chance of winning, think of unique, fun and clever designs for your pumpkins. Don’t be afraid to think outside the box either, feel free to use paint, pen and anything you think will stand out.

Once you have completed your pumpkin design, snap a photo and submit it into the competition. Then, to enter, simply click the link below and follow the instructions.

The competition closes on: 4th November 2018 at 23:59pm. So, make sure you enter your pumpkin design before then and you could be in with a chance to win one of three amazing prizes. The prizes this year are:

1st prize

2nd prize

3rd prize

Lego Halloween Set

Pumpkin Outdoor LED Lantern

Solar Powered Outdoor Lights

Don’t forget, you can also use fruits and vegetables! Oranges, melons and grapefruits can be equally as scary. Plus there are tonnes of vegetables you can carve to create a spooky design. Good examples for carving are squash, gourds and even turnips!

Once the pumpkins have been used, don’t just throw them away— see my blog on what to do with pumpkins after Halloween.

Once you’ve entered your pumpkin into the competition, you can vote on the website for your favourite design.
